18,380 Indiana Children were victims of Neglect and abuse in 2010-Little Miss Diva Event Raises Awareness

Yes, These numbers are startling. These are public records  of the children that are displaced from the only homes they know; which are unsafe inhabitants and dangerous environments. Physical Abuse makes up 12.5% and Sexual Abuse makes up 18.6! Its frightening  to know that so many children are living in these conditions. Luckily, Child protective Services are working to rescue those children in those environments and place them in safe temporary homes...Otherwise known as Foster Homes.

Little Miss Diva USA is determined to bridge the gap between  warm and loving homes and the children that need them the most. Individuals interested in becoming a Foster parent or adopting a child can attend our annual beauty competition and walk away knowing the steps to make their parenting dreams come true. So many people state, " I really want to become a foster parent, but I don't know where to begin...." And Little Miss Diva USA creates an environment where those concerns are addressed with ease.
